Default 02 TT clutch not fully disengaging

I would imagine that my clutch is going out but I am not positive. some feedback would be appreciated.. but it seems especially in lower gears that when i let off the clutch and press the gas pedal that the clutch has not fully released as my RPMs shoot up really high like they would if i had the clutch engaged while pressing the gas. What could be causing this?

You mean that your clutch is not fully engaging if you're getting slip, which is likely an indicator that it's new clutch time.
