Yep im FWD. As for the life span i really dont mind if i destroy my turbo. I have the garrett sitting in the garage. Im still very happy with the numbers im putting out. Traction with the spray isnt that good i still need to get a dif. I will start spinning in third when punching it with juice and cherp 4th.

Oh, im sorry, and the less drivetrain loss....better?
In a car that is FWD under 0 slip?

80 front 20 rear (when there is slipping) otherwise you have a 100% fwd car my friend. And no, you need a controller to adjust the power.

awd running power to the front wheels does not = fwd drivetrain loss.

With a center differential that would be so. But the way the Haldex system works is it has to go through the front differential first before it can transfer any torque to the back. That's why it's impossible to acheive a split with more than 50% going to the back.

Whether there is power going to the rear or not, at the very least you have more drag from the rear than if they weren't driven wheels.
That is still a part of drivetrain loss. Less significant than power loss from running power through it, but still a loss.

wow, you quoted me saying something wrong. I like many others spread things they were to believed was true and werent. I dont have a awd soi never looked further into it. But to Joe on vortex, there is always power to the rear and there will always be more powertrain loss in a awd car.
