So I have two different issues. The first is more of a serious issues as I use my car for work. The second I have never heard of an issue with.

It seems as though my third gear synchro is almost shot. I can change into third but not above 3 grand. I can but i have to wait for the rps to die down which is a pain. I do have slight issues with reverse and 5th but i know for a fact that it is the linkages because I replaced my clutch a year and a half ago and have had problems with those ever since. Does any one have a general idea on a cost for a synchro and labor?

Second is baffling to me. I have a roadster and the defroster for the rear glass stopped working. The button lights up but the strip wont do its job. Has anyone had this issue or heard of it so I know where to start. The dealer said to replace the entire top. Seems a little much for a defroster.
