2001 TT died and will not start...
Ok guys, lets see here....
The car is a 2001 TT quattro 225 6 spd. Only mods are exhaust and neuspeed power pack, with filter. All of which has been on the car forever without fail.
The car has lately required multiple attempts to start... Maybe as many as five tries. Mainly on colt start. However, I live in Las Vegas so its not exactly cold.
Two days ago I notice some fuel/timing cut under boost in any gear. First time that it has happened. It almost felt like the parking brake was on. I continued on, and parked to find it idling fine. My very next trip has duplicated the problem so I drive it easy on the way home. Stopped by the grocery store for a quick minute and could not start the car up again. It turns over fine but no spudder or rough idle. Nothing. So I get a ride home and return the next day.
Step 1. Replace the battery as I know this car is finicky for the correct Voltage...
Step 2. Get car towed home.
Step 3. Remove injectors to confirm I am getting fuel. Fuel is definately being delivered.
Step 4. Pull coil packs starting with the passenger side. Removed coil and attached spark plug to see if i am getting spark. No spark... Tried coil pack 2. No spark... Are these grounded to the manifold or should I be seeing spark? Any other ideas? Thanks so much everyone.

Thanks
That's what I was thinking too. Now that a recall has been issued for them, I'm sure its the problem... Now, will Audi honor the recall when there is a chip installed on the vehicle? I know that if it is a warranty issue, they don't hesitate to refuse you... Hopefully recalls are different...

did the necessary check up...
i changed all the fuses...

no wires was disconnected or snap...

i could smell a strong petrol smell but when i remove the plugs, the plugs r dry with no trace of petrol smell...
