Default 2002 Audi TT - clutch worries? Is it out?

I parked my car and was able to shift without my clutch... is my clutch out?
I don't know if I just never noticed this before but I just parked my car and shifted my car into first (as a habit in case it rolls backwards and e break is out) and well I realized I did it without pressing my clutch in.

Is my clutch out? Does it mean it's almost out? Ack.

No and no. If you clutch was going, it would slip on acceleration. Very obvious.

Correct. You "dont" need the clutch to shift gears ever. You can shift without using the clutch.... Expect it grinds and distroys your trans. Most sport motorcycles can be up shifted without a clutch without damage.
