A4 Worries
I just bought a lovely Audi A4 3.0 quattro sedan with Tiptronic which is my pride and joy BUT there have been some interesting annoyances/problems.
1) Whenever I turn up the volume it seems like either the mid or treble speakers in the back make a vibrating noise. I did some snooping and I feel like it actually may be these cargo hooks that pull down that are vibrating when the speakers vibrate in the trunk but I'm not 100% sure, so if anyone has experienced the same problem and has made a fix I would love to fix it because I'm an audiophile!
2)I have been experiencing a funny smell when i get out of the car. After some donut experience in my friends cars I can pinpoint the smell somewhat. I feel like its not burnt rubber and I don't think its burnt oil but it almost smells like a combination. I feel like it would be a fluid but I unfortunately can't pinpoint the smell...which I would suppose comes with a relative lack of inexperience.
3) Finally recently I have been experiencing a shaking sensation in my car which is slightly worrying. It only happens during acceleration and happens at around 30-45 mph. It never happens during hard acceleration and I attempted to pinpoint if it was a gear problem by shifting over to tiptronic and testing every gear except 4th and that didn't seem to be the problem. It almost feels like a shaky road sensation but I have driven on those roads and I have never felt that sensation before. I have the Sport package so that means a lower, stiffer suspension and the 17 (I think) in. wheels but I feel like its a problem with the car, not with the road.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and being a gearhead in spirit (first car I've actually owned) I would love to gain some experience. Thanks in advance for the help

did u recently do an oil change? some excess oil might of touched the cat which would produce some burnt crispy smell.
also shaking, have u tried getting a tire balance? When i had my shaking sensation is when it was too cold and it froze some of my lines that connects to my wheels, and vibrats

Thank you both
For the shaking it is very possible that it was something with the tires and the cold because in Philly right now it is pretty cold and I've noticed that on especially cold times, never midday or anything like that.
For the timing belt issue, no I have not gotten it checked but I've been warned and I asked them to check it out for me.
Also I think I identified the smell as something electrical perhaps spark plugs I'm not 100% sure, but I am sure that I haven't yet had to refill the oil and that I just checked the oil level and it is perfectly normal. I just brought the car in because the ESP light and the Check Engine light came on, but luckily I was less than 5 minutes from a dealer so I took the train home, got my warranty, and shuttled back to the dealer. I should be getting an update on the problem from the dealer and I will make sure to post just so any inquiring people can see what their problem might be! But thank you both so much for your help!
