Default 2008 audi tt convertible SPARE TIRE question

I recently purchased 08 TT roadster used, and realized it didn't have spare tire. My salesman didn't have much knowledge himself regarding this issue.
I'll greatly appreciate if someone tell me what to do in case of tire goes flat or blow out.

If your car came with runflats which mine did ...then all you get is a can of goop to seal the tire and an air compressor that plugs into the lighter to fill it. None of the MK2 TT's come with a spare tire ..mine did not even come with a Jack ...Many have come up with spare solutions ...check the search button or even search google and you'll get back results of people from different TT sites that have made room for and purchased rims/tires that fit in the trunk.

My spare didn't help me much.

I noticed a nail in the tire so I took it off and and replaced it with the donut spare. I wanted to take it to Pep Boys to get it patched but the tire would fit in the trunk. WTF

Later while reading the service manual I find that the 3.2 litre doesn't have a spare. The have a "Tire Mobility System". Basically it's a can of Fix-A-Flat and a bicycle pump.

Sorry to hear...I remember reading a post of someone who had gone the route of fitting a spare in the trunk, I instantly thought about the fact that unless you are alone you will need to put the effected tire/rim in the passenger seat cuz it's too big for the trunk ...I've never tried but may fit with the cardboard cover retracted?
