2012 tt
Well I took the plunge. My wife and I went to Texas where she had a 2012 A3 TDI waiting for her to pick up. While we were there I saw a white 2012 TT Quattro that I guess I had to have. I traded in my 2008 TT front-trac because I wanted the Quattro. (I got the '08 earlier this summer so I never drove it in a winter)
Well the ride home was perfect. Until I hit the south metro of the Twin Cities. We drove into the first snow storm of the season. The tires (Potenza's) turned into hockey pucks. I made it home without any damage, but I did spin out several times, each one at slower and slower speeds. Wow.
So I will start a search here but if anyone has a quick answer as to tires/rims combinations I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking at either winter rims & tires (probably 16 or 17"?) or just putting on all season tires.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I have conti DWS on my TT and love them. but, we only get a couple of inches, if any, per winter. That' being said, they are a great all season. if you're not going with dedicated snows, these are about as good as they get.
see tire rack reviews for more info.
cheers.

Help.lol
Hello guys, if you may, I lost complete power to climate control and ac fan on 2002 audi Quattro tt, while trying to bypass low pressure switch, blew something in the process. Fuses are fine, replaced fan module under battery and still nothing, I was told there's no ac relay under the dash. Help.lol
