With a clutch and rods, you will be fine with normal driving. Its when you start racing (drag or track) when you will see other failures.

As for sw, since you have a 02 with a nbo2 ecu, deff get eurodyne/tapp. They produce more power and have the most reliable nbo2 setups currently. Uni has great wbo2 setups, but they are behind tapp in the nbo2. Not to mention tapp is like $750 for a 630cc file and Uni is ~$900.

If you are concerned about the stock rods, just get a 1bar wastegate spring and run it straight of the wg for boost control.

ok cool the kit does come with eurodyne sw. and thanks cus that is exactly what the guy that is putting in my kit said he will do as far as running it off the wg. he was like if i don't do that you'll turn up the boost and blow your sh*t. two more questions. how much will i be putting down. with the 1bar? and what fmic do u recommend? i was thinking precision and having him make custom pipe work.

I would guess in the 260-270whp range. A PTE600 core would be a great choice with custom 2.5" piping

complete waste of money. Water/meth injection is way better with more gains

nitrous oxide might be more effecient than other gases (not sure). But any expanding gas is going to help cool an IC... co2

still a expensive waste. meth increases octane while reducing intake temps and knock. This means you can increase both timing and psi (if the turbo can push more) and much more power than just cold ic

water = almost free
meth = ~$1.50 for a bottle of HEET

yea that is eventually. prob not cus i should be able to hit 350 whp with the gt3071r, rods, fmic and a clutch. I really don't want to build it up to the point that i can't drive her every day. one of my mean things is that it'll last. and not be braking all the time.
