Quick question. I found the TT I want with less miles chip exhaust and intake so the baic are done. So on the ad it said 6 speed with 180 engine. I thought the 225 came with the six speed. You guys are the experts let me know.

 

do you have access ro carfax? the VIN will show you the standard equipment.

I dont think there is a 180 with a 6-speed, unless its custom! But you don't have to take my word for it.

 

6 speed is 225 and V6 only

 

unless he did a trans swap.

but you never know. there is someone here or audiworld with a 180 that had a stock dual exhaust.

 

thats my 180 with factory duals.

My carfax also reports a 6 speed HO turbo - but I have a 180Q with a 5 speed. Maybe they count R as a gear?

could you imagine buying a car where someone did that and having no idea. taking it to the dealer because

"for some reason I can't get the damn car in 6th gear! it just wont go."
