Default ABS/ASR - LIGHT IN CLUSTER ON? huh?

Hey guys,

Today I took the audi out for a spin, accelerated quite hard, completely enjoyed it...didn't over rev or anything, just gave the throttle a bit of play.

Anywho after one time of hard acceleration my ABS light and ASR light on my cluster came on and stayed on, I shut the car off...turned it back on and started driving...lights came back on.

Whats up?

Thanks guys

Are your brake pads worn down, and the sensor is setting things off. When I changed my pads, I went with a non-sensor pad, and my lights came on till I jimmy-rigged the sensor.

there is a brake pad warning that comes on in the center display.

don't understand why abs and asr light would stay on if the brakes are shown somewhere else.

On the way to work today I took a corner a wee bit sharper than I should...Enough to have fun! - Mind you I work in the middle of nowhere so I put no one other than myself at risk...let the back end slide alittle bit...and the lights went off and stay'd off... I wonder if something got stuck? I know when I accelerated last night the car slipped a bit... Maybe the computer didn't register things?

Hmmm....

Aliens.

I had that problem in my Z3... it's like 100 bucks to get one light diagnosed.
