I ordered my adjustable control arms yesterday from cpt and the guy there said on certain models you have to change the bushing to that of a newer year tt or r32. Does any one have any expierence w/ these. My car is a 01 225 quattro I am hoping that they will be here monday and the pss's will be on by the weekend but if i need to order those bushing I want to go do it so that will be possible. Thanks in advance.

 

Do you mean the rear axle bushing?

 

Maybe? I think the guy at cpt said the bushing where their control arms met the axle. Does that sound right? Do you have or know anyone who has these arms?

 

The older MKIV's have a bushing that contains oil, I think this's what they're refering to.
The new bushings are made of rubber.
