Hello,

I'm new here. I'm looking towards purchasing a 2000 or 2001 Audi TT. What pros and cons can you guys/gals tell me about the car?

i drove one as a rental, the interior is very cramped for my tastes! Im only six feet tall but my head was touching the ceiling. Also the blind spot is horrible in that thing

do you know how to adjust the seat at all?? i'm 5'11" and have more than enough room to put a helmet on... and when i played football as an inside linebacker (mind you, i'm not a small man) i have driven it around with my helmet and shoulder pads on (not after a practice/workout, don't worry, i didn't sweat up the seats)
they are really nice cars, just as any audi is, however i'm sure you will still be able to find ones that have been pampered and others that have been beat on, so don't look at just one before you buy it. If i can think of anything else, I'll post it up, but i'm sure that the other guys on here will cover for me, lol

get the 2001 edition it has the immobilizer...also make sure you look underneath the car and see the condition of rust I had issues with that replacing exhaust and brackets

search the forum.

pros/cons have been covered a couple times this fall. Not too far down the list of threads, i posted a link to all the main differences between model years. Theres also alot of info about timing belts blowing around 60K miles. Check to see that was taken care of if the miles are past that point, even though Audi doesn't say to do it until 105K or something.
