Advice on first mod
Hey there,
Brand new on here and just got an '01 225hp TT roadster. So far it's a great car and lots of fun. My questions is this - what should be the first mod for this car? I was thinking intake/air filter..easiest, cheapest, and quickest way to get moreHP,right? So looking for advice on the best intake setup for a quattro TT. I checked out K&N and thier website had nothing but an air filter and an oil filter. Thanks for your help.

First.. read the TT Faq at the top of the page. You can find most of your answers there.
Second.. most will tell you first mod shouldbe chip, Revo, GIAC, APR, MTM, OC.T, etc..
Thirs.. no real gains on an intake. sounds nice though and obviously helps but not a lot. Try looking to www.modshack.info . Lots of TT stuff there including intakes. Has a nice look to it but there are other cheaper alternatives that function the same without the looks.

Yep, chip it, or search/talk to Cincy about his resistor mod expertise. Most bang for your buck, and the easiest change to get the most Hp out of your car. No other mod short of going right to a bigger turbo is gonna give you more power with such little work.
Depends on how much you want to spend, what you want out of your car, and if are handy with tools and can do some install yourself.
If you have questions about modifying a roadster (in particular), shoot me a PM, I'll try to help.
