Air Intake
I have a 2001 TT 225HP Quattro which is completely stock and im thinking of putting in an air intake, an exhaust and a blow-off valve.
Im thinking of getting everything from www.lltek.com. Anyone heard of that company before?
What would be the best brands to buy for these specific parts?
I have heard that a cold air-intake is unecessary unless I upgrade the turbo system. Would a cold air-intake or an ordinary intake be better?
Is it true that even a Diverter-BOV may affect the closed loop system of the car? Which is the best one to buy?

Yes it is true a BOV will affect the closed loop system. They are not ment for Audi's.
Some people will argue , but they are wrong. What you want is a Diverter valve. aka By-pass valve.
There are a few good ones. Hyperboost , forge etc ...

ok, havnt been on cause comp was broke....
I understand the whole BOV thing, but what about the one on that website. Its a diverter/bov. Does both, so that it isnt robbing all the air from the loop. WIll that work?
And since no one else answerd, is the cold air intake worth it? Ive heard a couple things, just curious what you all have to say. And with that, what brand?
The car is gonna have some new parts on it soon, just wanting to know what has been proven good.

In an audi bov's do not function well because under deceleration between shifts there is something known in the tuning world as "Decel Fuel Cut Off" What that means is when you let off the gas the ecu continues to fuel the engine but very little. The audi ecu is looking for that extra air that comes from the dv, and with a bov it is not getting it. Hence what happens is, in between shifts you go pig rich. Not to say its going to affect your acceleration in 3rd gear from 40 to 75 mph, but between 40 and 95 where yo uhave to shift from 3rd to 4th. Since you go rich and have to work to clear the engine of excess fuel and then rebuild boost. That is is the skinny on bovs.
If you reaaaaaaaallllly want one, you can buy an afc, which has a function to remove excess fuel between shifts. I dont like the idea, but thats just me. I bought a turboxs dv since I dont really care about the sound. I have been there and done that in a previous car.
CAI's - yes they do make a difference. Turbos increase temps. They do, just the way it is, but CAI's can help. I dont feel like typing it all, but pick up the new sport comapct car if you really want to know (he does a great job of explaining it.) Otherwise just know this: CAI's work on a simple proportion. Turbos raise the temps but it is directly proportional to what the temp coming in is. So cooler air in, cooler air out of the turbo. Cooler of course makes power.
And yes I am going with one, either the bmc or the one from modshack, just a little undecided at the moment.
Good luck,
