When I bought my TT I was looking at M3s and S4s. I had always loved the TT and thought that they were just gorgeous. I didn't have the firsthand knowledge of what they drove like. I found mine at a VW dealership with 25k on it and the price was almost half of the 03'-04' M3s I was looking at and it just blew me away when I drove it.

I ended up with an S4 anyway after all was said and done, but my TT is my baby. It's just a great car.

Cheap plastic interior, and it wasn't nearly as quick as I thought it would be.
Duuuuude after owning my TT for a few months I test drove a 350Z and had the EXACT same impression.

The interior is a turd and completely deters me from buying one. I thought I'd break the door handle if I yanked on it moderately hard it's made of flimsy plastic. I'm not a big fan of the yellow gauges, but that's just me.

My impression upon driving it was "wait...that's all 300hp is???" I was expecting to be blown away. I was impressed...but not blown away. What I was impressed by was its powerband. It seemed to pull a little harder than the TT all the way from 2k to redline...and sounded pretty nice doing so. However I discovered with that car that I can't live without a turbo...I missed the whine and blow off so badly

however 350Z+twin turbo kit =

Shoot me a link to that kit. I've been pricing turbo kits for a while now. I haven't commited myself to getting anything yet, but I'm looking at around the first of the year 2008. I'd like to get 350+whp. I would also like to avoid any more turbo lag than I can help. ie: I know some kits claim 400+hp but the turbo lag on those would be hellacious. I know I'll have lag increase by bumping up to big turbo... but I'd like to keep it as minimal as possible.

Email Don R at unitronics and then the guys at Pagparts, they are the ones that will provide the whole kit with FMIC. Then Don R. is going to be doing the tuning. Mind you when you put that much boost you will have to get some Scat Rods and also its a good idea to get the raceware head bolt kit. I contacted Bob Q @ QED power. PM me if you need more info.

My goal with the stock head was 400-450whp daily driver on 93 octane gas. This is with w/m injection of course, but all the experts that I talked to said that it is a very good possiblity that I would meet my goal. Its a cast turbo manifold because the tubular ones will not fit on the quattro, a GT3076R.73a/r HKS housing, all the plumbing, a Garrett 500hp intercooler core with cast end tanks, all intercooler piping, injectors and I think thats it. The tuning is from Unitronics who is the "best" in big turbo tuning. I also contacted EIP tuning for the VW guys and they said that they could write me a program also, but are not interested in advertising for Audi products. You figure at least 22-26psi, full spool around 4500-5000 rpms butDon R said that I should be able to push the turbo into the 7000 rpm range.
