Don't want to rain on your parade, but a car with almost 100k miles on it and 7 or 8 years old is unlikely to get the attention of the NHTSA. It is reasonable to expect component failures under those conditions. I had a '95 Honda Accord that had a failed speedo and never would imagine that Honda would cover it. I don't know what to tell you other than it's gonna probably cost you more than $800 to even attempt to pursue this through litigation. It sucks, but your reasonable choices are to fix it yourself, pay to have it fixed, or sell the car. No court is going to require a car company to warrant their product indefinitely.

you must not have read this. it was approved by the courts and you need to submit your claim by June 16th.

you gauge cluster should alwasy be covered. if it fails to work your car can be considered a salvage title or miss mileage or something like that.

Yeah but all our tt's are around 60k so its all good I am taking mine in tomorrow.

I didn't read that, but that's cool! I'm still surprised by it, though.

Wow impressed, I already replaced my turbo and I have 68,000 haha. I hope that doesn't happen to you.

Ha! I got home today and had the extended warranty notice from Audi in my mail!
