I am fitting an after market amp (Alpine V12 F-505) to a friends mk1 TT. He wants to keep the original look as much as possible and therefore is keeping the concert head unit. I have laid all wires yesterday but was stumped when it came to the remote wire as the block on the head unit has no existing wire in place. Is there an alternative location to remote link the amp in?

Although my friend was lead to believe (by Audi!!) the car had a half bose system installed it appears it is just the basic system, so no amp in the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. I have read on many forum posts already that it is the pre-existing amp that you take the remote feed from but in this case I cannot.

Can anyone help here?
