About 8 months ago I had a professional subwoofer install done and they pulled it out. They screwed the install royally (which i figured they would. I normally do all my own stuff but I was out of the country and decided to take the chance). after they screwed it up royally, I pulled all their crap out and redid it all myself. (hence all the extensive fabrication work).

I got the pictures but cannot find my SD card reader. Im headed back to the States today TDY for 10 days. I'll either get another reader or a cable for the camera and upload them asap. sorry about that. my compact camera was stolen so im having to use my SLR

here's the ppics. sorry it took so long.

keep in mind, there's a gap between the shelf and the trunk floor because there's a plexiglass panel due in for install over that electronic crap.

...btw... yea i know my carpet is hella dirty. some a-hole dropped a coke behind my passenger seat and i cant find a steam cleaner.

lol... okay, for obvious reasons I know this is not everyone's taste. I will post pictures of the finished product when Im done. But this is by FAR... a great improvement and extremely more efficient use of the space back there than a seat or even the huge speakerbox monstrosity that the professionals did for me when I was pressed for time. anyone happen to know the part number for the circular convex alum. dimpled caps on the door handles?

Once the plexiglass is on... I will need those to cover the screw/bolt heads that secure the plexiglass in place. Plus it'll add TT accent to the custom work. -shrugs-

Im not made of glass... if you think its hideous... tell me.

the hardest part was shaping the MDF to the curves of those rear panels and the support bars on either side. The wiring wasn't much fun either. Im in the states right now though... so I'll be stopping by home depot before I leave for more grommets, snakeskin, wiring tools and insulation etc.

Lotta work to do on it once i get back.
