Default Audi TT problems

I have a 2001 Audi TT Turbo with 123,000.

I have a few things going wrong with it all at one. I don't know much about cars but I'm trying to learn more. I bought the Bentley Audi TT service manual.

The car is running hot. I changed the T-stat and it didn't help at all. My other guess is the Fan. Only one fan is spinning.

Problem 2: The A/C will not turn off. When I turn it off it blow air even harder and is cool for a little bit then goes to the ambient temp. My guess is maybe the blower motor control unit has gone bad.

Problem 3: If I let my car sit of 3 to 4 days the battery will die. Something is pulling a charge. If I started it every day is works just find.
If I'm not going to drive it for 3 or 4 days I just disconnect the battery.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a fuse holder sitting on top of the battery. Open it up and you will find three 30 amp fuses. Check them. It is common for one of them to blow big time and it will cause your symptoms. There are other items that can cause problems but look here first.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the fuses on top of battery and they all looked good.

I would grab a vag-com right away, will give you an exact idea of whats going on, even for your A/C, its a expensive piece so maybe find someone with one.

Are you basing #1 off of the temperature gauge on the instrument cluster? If so, look into changing the temperature sensor with the most updated revision sensor.
