I have a question, my tt is a 2001 and it was produced on 2000, my steering wheel is getting really in bad shape, I would like to replace it, I have been looking for new steering wheels on ebay and I have found a few brand new but it says that it would only fit on tt produced after 2001, and well, judging the pictures from a steering wheel like mine and a new one, I have noticed a little diference between mine and the ones on ebay, would anyone please tell me if there is a chance that I could make a new steering wheel fit on my tt (by new I mean the steering wheel produced for tt produced after 2001) tnx a lot!

 

i think the stealership would be the best way to go... kinda something you need to work in a car.

I think the airbag design changed. I saw a steering wheel on UK EBay that can be used on all TTs produced after Jan 00.

Nah, they put metal spkies in it to teach people to never hurt a TT.

I can imagine seats getting bad but steering wheel?

Is it leather wrapped? These can look a little rough I guess as.
mine does but I don't care I love the way it feels.
