I have the Chance to finally own one of my favorite cars, a 2011 Audi TTS, But need Some advice about what to do. . . Basically the car has 14101 miles and a long list of mods done to it so far.

From What I can See Done:
-Nuespeed intake
-Milltek Exhaust
-Drilled /Slotted Rotors
-Blow off Valve (Probably Nuespeed)
-Apr tune (Stage 1/2+) Sales guy said Apr. . .
-Intercooler (Probably Nuespeed)
-Audi s4 Wheels
*that all I could tell from my initial inspection*

My issue really is that I've asked multiple times about the 4 year 50,000 Mile Warranty and get different answers all day long. Initially he said "oh yeah its full factory Warranty" then he Said what's not covered by Audi is covered by APR so I asked him to write up what Parts of the warranty are still Audi Effective/Active and he said I'll get Back to you tomorrow (he's speaking to his service manager about it). . .

What sort of Reliability Issues could there be from these Aftermarket parts and is my Warranty dead already? There was a loud ticking too but he said its the Fuel injectors firing off and its normal.

The warranty ussually only voids if they can prove the aftermarket parts caused the issues. The only thing listed that may give you problems is the apr tune, but they are conservitatve enough to not cause issues. Get anything they say in writing.

 

okay thats great advice. What about the tick sound? Apparently most audis have the fuel injectors firing off and its a loud process?

this sounds like a pen tapping on the table, not metallic or any type of grind. Is that normal for a modded TTS?

Not sure about the newer models, but the 1.8t head does make some noise.
