Default back pressure question

I guess back pressure can be measured in HGs and one HG can = 1 HP (from what I have read). So how many hg is 5.5 mbar? Remus says their muffler reduces its pressure by 5.5 mbar compared to my stock muffler. (who knows if thats true or not). I am trying to figure about how much HP gain I will get if they are telling the truth.

well, you have a turbo car, backpressure is pretty irrelevant.
you want a straight tube, ideally

dont know about the pressure vs hp numbers tho, sorry.

But less restriction in the exhaust is good so I am trying to find out how much 20 mbar is in CFM and HG. Its a straight thru so it has to be better than the chambered one stock.

5.5millibar is about 4.9mmHg (mm of mercury) to put it in terms slightly more familiar to a car guy. mmHg is what a vacuum gauge would read as.

So then I read that 1 HG is about 1-2 HP so what they claim of 5+ HP seems to be right then. I just wanted to make sure about what Im getting for the price Im paying. Man things for the new TT are expensive. Thanks guys.

By the way I got my G timer the other did and did a couple of 0 60 runs. Got a couple of 5.8s but I need some new tires and I think I can get to 5.7. I got 20,000 on these stock tires.
