Well the noise went away for a couple of days and I never did bother to at least look around. This morning it sounded terrible and I eventually checked it this evening and it didn't look so great. There were pieces of belt and some odd round piece of plastic just laying on top of some hoses down low. Turned out the tensioner pulley was the one making the noise and eventually siezed(that's when the noise stopped). The belt was running over the siezed pulley and melted/broke it which caused the belt to start breaking into pieces little by little. I'm in the process of fixing it so hopefully that's the last of the troubles for now. thanks for all replies

Changing out the pulley wasn't hard at all it's just a bit tight in there to get a pulley out by itself. So, I removed the whole assembly (bracket & pulley) which is held with three 1/2" bolts. That easily slides out and you can remove the pulley from there and reverse the process. You have the option of just replacing the pulley ($20) or the whole assembly ($70).
