BHP Brake Hour Power * I think*

Also teh FWD 1.8T is 180HP the torque was a lot lower on the 00 and 01 180HP TT vs the 02+ 180hp TT
I'll look up the specs in a bit and post them

Here we go

00 and 01 180TT where as follows
1.8L 180 hp I4

Horsepower
180 @ 7600 RPM

Torque (lb-ft)
130 @ 6800 RPM

In 02+ the TT 180 got a big torque upgrade. Also the torque range is WAY different.

1.8L 180 hp I4

Horsepower
180 @ 5500 RPM

Torque (lb-ft)
173 @ 1950 RPM

Thats a big power range differance. The 00 and 01 180hpyou almost have to be redlined to get full power where the 02+ they leveled it way out look how low the torque starts in and even max HP.

225's haven't changed at all over the years.

Do not forget the basic rule, torque and HP cross at 5250 rpm's and swap places...

Just pointles babble on my part as I cannot sleep LOL

stock compression is at 9.5, is it really worth it to go with a larger turbo?
