call up my buddy Joe at Axis, I rarely use ECS anymore. 802.264.9727

Good chance he can set you up in much less time than that, and he's local!

Jesus, chill out, call ECS up tell them to remove the item and they'll ship your order, that's all it takes.

I've dealt with ECS a bunch of times when I had questions/wanted to change my order...including one time when an item ended up being massively back ordered and I didn't want to wait. Each time I called them up and they changed my order right there and then. A few times when I ordered special order parts they told me when they'd arrive and when they'd be shipped.

Their phone service is a bit sketchy though, you sometimes have to call 2-3 times before someone actually picks up...like it'll ring and throw you to voicemail. Other than that I like their customer service.

At least for me, I wasnt trying to be whiny. I am just relating my experience with a vendor most of us have used or will use. I have had many orders with zero problems, but lately there have been issues. Regardless of how easy the issues may be to resolve by making a few phone calls, ultimately the responsibility for smooth and expedient transactions lies with the vendor. I would never expect perfection, we are all human and things happen, but it shouldnt fall to the customer to make things run smoothly. I just want to place my order and have it shipped to me without a bunch of emails and phone calls to find out what the delay is on an instock product, or to trouble shoot defective equipment. ECS is a a good resource overall, but I am not the only person who has to jump through hoops or deal with quality control issues. Of course, its kind of slanted because usually people dont post about their positive transactions as well, just their gripes.
