I'm looking for a good boost controller cause well who doesn't want some more boost. I'm not quite sure which type I should get or which brand to trust the most. I'm on stock turbo.

Yes I will be getting a boost gauge also.

I found a Mishimoto intercooler. Zline. Anyone happen to have one or heard of how well it preforms?

I'm sure I'll have some more questions later on.

I work with someone who is sponsored by Mishimoto and they swear by his stuff. Never had a problem and great performance..

 

not sure if u have a 225 or not but that inter cooler is only rated to 22psi, and with a mbc, chances are you will set peak to around or right above it, be careful with that.

 

+1 on the boost controller. Thats what i have.

for an intercooler i plan to just get one off of ebay for 100 bucks and fab my own charge pipes.

 

Its not worth the effort if you don't get a good core, spend $250+ for a Precision core

When it comes to intercoolers, you get what you pay for. The higher the cost is mainly based on whats inside (more fins/inch) which lowers the temps far better. Just remember that all these cores are aluminum which isnt the best conductor so the more fins to pull the heat away the better

 

Someone needs to make a copper core

 

and people think that garrett cores are expensive....
