I just installed my gauge 2 weeks ago. What we did was, underneath the dashboard on the drivers side. Remove the panel there and you will see a cluster of wire. Get a wire hanger, straighten it out. Stick the hanger into the rubber sealing (surrounding the wires). Stick it all the way into the engine compartment. When you see the end of the hanger in the engine compartment. Get your vacuum hose and tape/wrap it to the end of hanger. Pull hanger back into the car.

I guess you are installing gauge into your left AC vent. Just run the vacuum hose up to that vent. The vent can be pryed open using your fingers. Remove all the channels inside the vent. As for powering the gauge lights. Remove the fuse panel on the drivers side. I have it powered through for whenever I turn on my lights. You can find out which wire it is by looking at the fuse diagram. There is a bolt there also. That is where I grounded the power.

Whatever you do, make sure you don't be a dumb@$$ like me. I accidently made the fuse for the radio come loose. So now my radio is in safe mode. Lol, just be careful of not letting that happen. Other than that it should be fine. Takes about 15 minutes to install.

you have 2 options, the DV vacuum line or the FPR line.

there's something about me tapping something into the FPR line and effing that up, so id just do the DV vac. line.

You can wire to the fuse panel as mentioned above but I wired it to the light switch by using a vampire crimp on the blue/grey wire. This way you will have dimmer control over the gauge's lights. Wire the ground to the grounding lug.....can't miss it, the one with all the brown wires going to it.

Haha, I didn't think about wiring it to the dimmer switch.. Should have done it like that.

When I didn't have a boost gauge, I thought it would be cool to have one. So i did it, now having it in there I realize it wasn't really worth it. Just to have that damn gauge I spent 250 bucks roughly. Was 60 for the gauge and 190 for a new radio.
