i installed the boost gauge ( which looks awesome by the way)...its a autometer cobalt series.

once i had itin and i was testing i noticed that in going through my gears my boost will peak to 17psi then drop down to about 14 and hold there? im thinking its boost spike? but i dnt have anything done to my motor...anyone know what up?

 

i get 17 psi spikes in first and second gear, then ~ 14

 

i have a completly stock motor...do u? because i though that stock 225tt's should only boost 12psi. Guess not...

its just a changing in load. its normal

 

I'm getting 20-21 psi w/o a boost controller..I don't know how or why, but I am. I'm thinking it has something to do with running no cat and a test pipe instead..but I don't know for sure.

 

are you holding 20-21psi? or spiking
