Default BoV Question

Ok so i recently got a DV/BoV from Xo2 racing. I installed it but I keep get a fluttering sound at boost. No matter how I adjust it I still get the same sound. Should I close off the Discharge port on the DV/Bov and close off the discharge line on my car aswell?

If the flutter is only at 3-5psi, its no big deal as long as you have a clean blow off at full psi

No matter what i did. adjusting the piston or what not. I couldn't get the clean blow off sound.. Even at full boost the bov sound was still fluttering. In the end I had to cut the spring of the piston, only by doing that was I able to get the correct blow off sound.. .Clipse was there and witnessed the whole thing. Cutting the spring was a last resort.

Edited.. Don't go half ***'d like me.. Get the real deal and save yourself some time.

ok so, the diverted line was plugged, piston spring cut and let loose.

FULL vent to atmosphere. no bogs, no stalls, nothing at full boost. BoV naysayers need to keep their mouths shut =X

Actually the one I bought is a DV/BoV.. It works fine now, after cutting the piston spring.

Edited: Lol are you drunk .clipse? Weaksauce.

^ haha. yes you did buy a dv/bov, but you're not diverting anything back to the intake since you had plugged the line.

so therefore it's fully venting to atmosphere = BoV.

and i was pretty buzzed lol.

Later on today, I may remove the plug and see what it does from there.

^ it'll divert back to the intake... most likely giving you a less louder vent but more "correct" since it's partially plumbing back.
