Default Best vacuum hose size?

I'm about to order a couple rolls of vacuum hose and was wondering what would be the best fit without having to use any clamps or anything. I'm thinking maybe 3mm I.D.? Thanks.

I guessed with 5/32 ID which fit for the intake manifold to DV and FPR. It fit real tight on the DV, but I put a zip tie on the other connectors. It fit pretty good, but I did the zip ties just to be safe. I don't know what the metric conversion is though... I bought mine at the local NAPA, because Junky City, Kansas truely is the sweaty ******** of America!

Lucky you, when I went to AZ and O'Riley's, all they had was generic "aftermarket" steel braided crap, 30 inches for 10 bucks... Finally tracked down the NAPA store, and they actually had vac line by the foot.

I think I might just go to Napa then. So what was the size that you purchased and how well did it fit?

that best way to do it is just take a hose from a car and find a match

I bought 3.5 mm silicone hoses from these guys
http://www.stylinmotors.com/vacuumhose.html

Red and blue, now everyone can track the hose easily.
Shipped by mail in a week. Will do it again.
