so my hazard/flasher relay went out the other day. i was able to find one online and have it on order, should be here on wed. now my brake lights are messed up. they stay lit all the time even when theignition is off. i replaced the brakeswitch about a year ago because the lights would not come on when braking. has anyone had a problem with their brake lights staying onall the time? could this stem from the hazard switch or does it sound like the brake switch has gone bad again.

 

I had this promblem too. its not that your switch went bad it could be that its not locked into place. when ever you take the sensor off you have to lock the little rod, they come loose many times.

 

cool, i hope thats all it is. i'm going to take a look when i get home tonight. so the pin isnot supposed to stick all the way out? i can't rememer how far it stuck out when i wasputting it in but when i stick my hand in there to feel for it it feels like it isfully extended.thanks.
