So in short my headlights looked like crap, I got a restore kit but there was still something about the lights that i didnt like. The Lights are way to big for this car!

I sand papered my headlights with 1000 grit, and then took them to a body shop to get spray tinted. I believed they used an laquer rather than enamel(more translucent), either way im very happy with the product. I stenciled out the top for an eyelid effect and the rest i made slightly darker.

Now im worried about insuffecient light from my xenons, Has anyone ever got brighter bulbs for there TT? plug in play HIDs? any recommendations?

 

The outside bulb is the headlight. Output shouldn't be effected.

 

im hoping output isnt effected, but the whole light is significantly darker, especially the eyelid part, if it is i would like to know what bulbs i can buy to counter this.

 

I think you're about as bright as you're gonna get. HID's are listed by heat range, and the TT is pretty close to white. Other than that, you start getting those purplish looking ones that supposedly look cool, but in reality, the output is in the wrong range, and you won't see as well.
