Buying 1999 Audi TT?
Hi guys, first off i'm new to this forum so take it easy on me if this is not the right place to ask this question
Well i am planing on buying Audi TT 1999 from my friend and i know the car is old but it looks great. My question to you is how is this car? my problem is that i am buying a car that is 14 year old but i don't know much about cars/audi so maybe its bad or maybe its okey? i love the look of this car both inside/out and i really want it so please help me with this so i know if i am doing a good buy. First off let me tell you something about the car that i am planing on buying.
Audi TT 1999, 180 hp 1800 cc.
he's driven 135.000 km, 83.800 miles
everything works great on that car at least when i tried it, when i first checked it out then there was no power in the car, and my friend told me because he has not moved it in weeks/months, so the battery was dead. But we got him running right away when we put the cables for a start.
i am paying around 7.500 $ 4.490 pounds. Many of you guys are going to say that is way to high? but i live in Iceland and this is the price in this country most of audi tt's are getting sold at higher prices.
i really just want to know if these cars are worth it? will i be paying 100$ every month for repair? and will i wake up one day and my car will be ruined hah? i'l let you guys tell me what to expect with this car especially that he is 99 and 2014 right now
