Default car audio system what are u doing?

Hey guys I am getting ready to install a Navigation system in my car. Pioneer Avic-N2, I know I need to get a new amp to run the new system. My question is what kind of amp are you guys going with, I.E. (Specs)?? I'm thinking of going with a Boston Acoustics 4 Ch. What do you guys think?

Also for those guys in SoCal Where is a good car audio shop to take my car to? I don't trust the guys in my area to work on an Audi... Thanks for any kind of help you guys can give!!

hey I don't know where in so cal you are located.. but in Burbank there is a place called Solar Craft. It's on burbank blvd, half mile west of the 5 south. They do great work, and I would recommend them to anyone. They do custom sound systems, along with quality window tintings.. all of there work is backed by a lifetime warranty. Hope this is of any help.

About the Boston Acoustics, I've read plenty of great things about the company. I might be going with a BA amp and speakers when I opt to upgrade the bose. Another option I might go with, would be getting an Infinity basslink II, which has and optional 75watt x4 peak (50 watts RMS x 4.) I'm only considering this option due to a tight budget, andconcerns of extra weight and space. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out.

if you have the bose, you can keep using the bose speakers and amp without running a new amp. there is a harness that makes it easy and all you need to do is connect ground loop isolators to the rca jacks to get rid of a popping sound when you turn the car on and off. I have a kenwood HU and i'm still running the bose amp and speakers, then i have a sub hooked up to an external amp and it sounds really good.
