Does anyone know of a step by step instruction list on how to install a 10" JL AUDIO sub system with 1200 watt BOSS amp? Id really appreciate it. I would also like advice on which wires i should use or whether it matter if i get some cheap wires from circuit city. ALso, is it cheaper for me to install it or go to someone else to do it?

i do. first step is to take the amp and promptly place in nearest garbage bin and buy a real amplifier. but seriously, if you want, IM me, ill make you a diagram of how to hook it all up and wire it and tell you what pieces you need.

 

As stated above, toss that amp in the trash. you have a nice car, dont put garbage in it. JL subs are nice, try to go with a JL amp. Even the new PDX Alpine amps are really nice, and really small. Installing this stuff isn't tough if you know what your doing. And as for cables, I dont know what they sell @ Circuit City but just go with a good size gauge like 4G power cable. If its monster cables you cant go wrong, I work @ Tweeter and all we sell is JL Audio cables, thats pretty reliable stuff too.

 

This link helped me very much. Try it and see if it helps you. The bass will sound great, but you will soon tire of the bose system (or at least I did) if you have it. I'm having mine replaced with a Pioneer Screen this week, so I will be able to hook straight up to the radio now. We will see how well the bose speakers hold up with a better headunit.
