So the other day my girlfriend had to use my car to go to school. Not long after she left she called to have me come pick the car up with my key because the only spot she could get was a 15 minute zone. fine. came to get it, unlocked it, got in, put the key in, turned and nothing, no lights, noise nothing. Car went into safe mode? Went and got her key from her and it started right up. I thought it might've been that my key got unprogrammed somehow?! Radio in safe mode at this point and all electronics reset.

Fast forward a few hours and I guess my girlfriend had a few problems starting it with her key but eventually it worked.

Today, went to move the car with her key and it wont start. Luckily its in my parking spot now but I am very frustrated...

Can anyone help?

Only mods are boost gauge and APR 93 chip. No problems until yesterday with anything..

 

UPDATE:

ok so I noticed that when it doesnt start and everything goes black, if I open the door and turn the key it starts... a short somewhere?

 

Check your battery.... you need to show at least 12.5V when measured across the terminals with everything off. If you have less than that all kinds of weird things happen. These cars do not like low voltage.
