I recently bought a 2003 TT roadster. The CD changer is in a compartment behind the driver's seat.

When I first got the TT I turned that compartment **** and took off the cover no problem. Then I put the cover back on properly. Since then I can not remove the cover. I turn the **** and the cover opens a little but something keeps it from being able to be removed. I don't want to force it.

I read in the manual that the cover "is locked and unlocked by the vehicle's power locking system". I can unlock the doors OK either with key or remote but the compartment cover remains stuck.

Any ideas what the problem is? Thanks.

No, its just a simple plastic cover. Its happened to me before, just force it open.
