My check engine light just came on today I had been driving for about 10 mins and got to a stop light and it just turned on. My car drove fine I havnt noticed anything wierd going on. Should I just take it and get it turned off or could there actually be a problem and need to get it checked out?

 

they have to access it to clear it, so just make sure you get whatever the code is, and look it up.

You can drive on a CEL, you CANNOT drive on a flashing CEL. Just remember that.

no immediate performace difference usually says o2 sensors.

 

I have a CEL right now for 'large evap leak'

Leak detection pump goes crazy for like, 15 minutes then gives up. Worst part is, it squeaks and drives me crazy.
