COILS replacement for free?

I heard that audi replaces the coils for mk1 TT for free. Is this true?

YEah its a part of a recall. Its free if youve never had it done.

How can I tell if it was ever done? I have a 2002 TT Quattro. I've had it since 2006 and have not had a problem with any coils, but if I can get free replacements....

Can I enter my VIN somewhere to see if they have been changed or is there a number on them somewhere?

I would also like to know this. I have a 2001 , and owned it since 2007.

Do I just call the dealership?

You guys need to call a local dealership. They will search by your VIN#.
