Default Coolant Leak after Green Sensor Install

I think I am just dumb and didn't push it down far enough maybe. I have some pics here though the quality is lw, maybe ou guys see what I dont. I will try to reseat it later, but right now it is too hot. I did replace the o-ring (wetted it first) and did put a new clip on. Thanks for the help.

I had that problem too...a slight leak.

Take it out, put the o-ring on the sensor, and press it back in.

Make sure it seats, clip it, enjoy.

What did you wet the o-ring with? If it still leaks after replacing it try some Vaseline.

coolant sensor, look just down and behind the fpr with the engine cover off and you can see the four wire harness. mine had the faulty black style, and i was overheating slightly when at traffic stops, so i am swapping it out

wetted it with some coolant, as there was some that gooped out anyways. i did put on the new one before i set it down in, but maybe it just not down in enough. will the retaining clip go in if it isnt down in far enough, because it went on easier then the old one came out
