My driver side window stuck half way down last night. And ofcourse It rained. I pulled the door apart this morning and got to the motor and had to maualy wind the window back up. At least it closed! Anybody know how much it will be to replace that motor? Tha passenger side window still works fine. When I try the drivers window I hear a clicking sound and nothing happends.

does anyone know if the motor for the TT is the same as any other models. Or if its a specific to this model. Can i use a VW motor or a motor from a a4, a6, etc.

Any input would be greatly appricated.

I would try car-parts.com, it usually crosses models pretty good.
