Default A different Coolant temp. sensor??

I purchased a green coolant temperature sensor from ebay with a part# of 059-919-501A
identical to those in Ecstuning, TTsuff and some other creditable places.
I tried to replace my sensor today, however, I found out that my sensor is different than the one that I ordered.

The sensor in my TT is dark green with 4 bigger pins, the tunnel space for adaptor is shorter than the one I ordered. It won't FIT!!

Does anyone know anything about this? Do they have a different sensor for an 2000 Audi TT FWD??

It should fit I didn't know if they made a different version for the earlier years.

mine is a blue/dark green sensor. Apparently I got the wrong one again.
or do I need to change the connector to make it fit?
Or else I would just sell it here with a low price for my fallas.
