I think you're thinking of using the same resistor for SAI delete...the ECU just needs to see a completed circuit for the N249, and if you use the (same) resistor for the SAI it will prevent the no pump CEL; however, since the ECU also looks for flow numbers during SAI operation, a CEL will get thrown for improper flow (there isn't any cause you removed the pump). Uni removes readiness stuff for their BT tunes, and can remove that stuff for more basic tunes, like their Stg1+. I plan to dump SAI once I get tuned to clean up the engine bay, and to make changing oil filters easier. W/o an SAI pump there is a ton of room to reach in and swap filters

Cross over pipe as in intercooler cross over?

Yeah uni is the way to go if you're gonna be doing stuff that throws codes or if your like me and had a chipped ecu and sold it or traded it. My new UNI file has SAI delete, O2 CEL delete, and immoblizer defeat (which is huge since I sold and traded my stock ecu and it would have cost $215 for Audi to adapt the new ecu...can't be done via VAG-COM 2001 TT's and up) I know TAPP/Eurodyne will do SAI and IMMO defeat also but they charge for the IMMO...UNI does all that for free and they even gave me the H20 100 off special w/o going to the show. UNI FTW!

Is there a way to clean out a chipped ecu? Like 100% back to stock.

Its essentially a firmware flash, like you would do with a PSP or iPod...if you could find a stock program, its as simple as flashing the ECU

Some flashed ecu's can be flashed back to stock by the dealership (so I hear. possibly by the chip tuner as well???) soldered in chips can be desoldered and stock chip reinstalled. not sure if its as easy as it sounds or if there is more to it. What I do know is you cannot take a chip from one ecu and plant it into another ecu w/o immobilzer codes of some sort (unless you're pre IMMO)
