i have an 01 180 and it was an option for mine i made sure i got

my headlight recently just went out. Got a gas discharge d2s bulb to replace it (~$80 out the door). The light is white-yellow (looks like 5000k) color compared to my other headlight which is a white-blue (6000k) color. Not sure why they're a different color being that they should be the same bulb.

It looks like lower Temp because it probably is. Most aftermarket bulbs these days are made for 55w ballasts, while our stock HIDs have 35w units. I you push more power through a bulb it's going to light up 'bluer', less and it'll look more yellow.
