If I were to get the 42 DD DP with the testpipe with a full 3" milltek non-res exhaust...How loud is this setup going to be? I've seen some vids on youtube with full 3" milltek but i don't know if it has the testpipe and if it's non res...i want it to be pretty loud, but i don't want it to be annoyingly loud like the full 3" turboback exhaust from APR..That makes the car sound like a tractor at idle.

 

It will be rather loud indeed. It might even have some nasty drone when crusing since there is no res. The res doesnt prohibit flow, wouldnt hurt to add one in if you dont like the all out noise when installed

 

What do you mean by nasty drone? How much of a difference is there in sound withit beingresonated and non-resonated?

 

sound should be about the same either way. The drone would be a loud humming

 

Well yea, I figured the sound would be the same. What I ment was..how much of a sound difference ona loud to quiter scale. Because I don't want to put a resonator on if it's going to make it alot quiter...

 

maybe 30dB. That about the 1/2 normal level of talking
