Default few issues

About 2 days ago I noticed the car does not beep when i hit "lock" with the remote like it used to. Didnt think much of it because it still looks, just doesnt beep.

Today I noticed my window didnt drop the 1/4 inch or so when I opened the door. And tried and my windows dont go up or down at all. Could this be a blown fuse or something?

Think these are 2 unrelated issues?

TIA

It could be a fuse ... layout here Check #5, #10 and #15 for starters. The window 1/4" drop may be related to this as well, but just in case take a look a this post as well. Windows won't drop

It would be a good time to use VAG-Com to check for codes as well, you could have an issue with the central locking module.

How good is your battery? Check that to make sure you are showing >12.5V at rest.

I saw the other thread but figured this was different because the windows wont go up or down at all. I will check the fuses. I think the battery is fine but can check it with a multimeter. Everything else, radio etc. works fine.

Ok so I am looking in my bentley manual and in the list of what each fuse is used for I dont see anything for windows. Am I blind? I dont think 5, 10 or 15 per the previous post are what I am looking for because I dont have a 2001 and neither the explaination in that link or the bentley make those look like the culpret. Any suggestions?
