Default fm transmitter for ipod

Can anyone fit the charger end of anything into the cigarrette lighter and have it work? I have tried using a Garmin GPS and it didn't charge and neither did my FM transmitter. I know a fuse could have gone but it feels like none of these chargers fit properly in the TT. Anybody else have these problems?

I took mine out and wired in a new 3 accessory one in. It could be the fuse in the accessory your plugging in too... most likely its a fuse

Does the cigarette lighter work?

If not it's probably a fuse.

I have Zero problems with mine fitting, or even feeling odd.

The previous owner might have screwed something up.

I have a 2000 coupe and the phone chargers don't fit well, I can get 'em to work but they don't sit right. It seems that the socket is a bit too shallow. I'd suggest a mod if at all possible.

I feel the exact same way dedmn_tt feels. It seems to shallow. When i put anything in it, it feels loose and the port doesnt feel long enough at all.
