thats the only way i can see it working....and ya i know the core is aluminumsmarty pants[8D] i meant the endtanks...being cast like that i didnt know how they would be to weld some sheet metal to.

silly ?, how do you think they attach the core to the tanks? [8D]

Im sure with some work you can make your own to bolt on or make a simple design and have someone weld it.

granted i know next to nothing about welding but for some reason i didnt think it would make a strong weld...being cast and sheet metal...either way i guess some light grade aluminum could weld ok...but besides that i wish i had an extra bumper to try this out on...not so willing to experiment with mine ive looked it over a lot and looks very close. meaning the core will fill up the panal that would be removed.

You can also just box in around the fmic to force more air into it than around it. JB Weld can more than hold the sheet metal (steel or aluminum) to the core/endtanks

lol JB weld...ive used that crap before and it held for like a week then jsut came off...
