Default IAT temp sensor and Water meth

interesting question here...does anybody see anything wrong with the water/meth messing with the actual IAT sensor? on both 180s and 225 where people are mounting the nozzles they are spraying towards the sensor...dont know how much of a difference if any if the nozzle was spraying away from it...also any negative side effects to the sensor giving either false readings or slowing destroying the sensor....i found this an interesting question any input

whether you spray directly on the sensor or before the tb, it's gonna get wet. Interesting question, but I've never had a problem with it (unlike the problem I had with throttle bodies). time will tell.

yai know its getting wet either way but still might not get as wet one way or the other...main question is if the water/meth is eating the sensor away...you can easily see how the intake temp readings the ECU can see might be off

If anything, IAT's would read even cooler, which would make you dump a little more fuel, and you'd still be making power.

if it read colder, it wouldnt pull timing (if there was any to pull) but that wouldnt cause you to add in any fuel

Dont think you would have any effect on the iat sensor since no one has ever reported it (here or on evolutionm.net where 10x more people run it) and some have ran it for years.

figured it was the same as those goofy ricer 'chips' that you either solder to the thermostat or intake. Car thinks its not quite warmed up, and adjusts accordingly.
